Welcome to the G-FINDER survey

The G-FINDER survey tracks annual investment into R&D for new products and technologies to address priority global health challenges. This includes basic research and the development of new drugs, vaccines, diagnostics and other tools for global health priorities that disproportionately affect people in low- and middle-income countries, including neglected diseases (NDs), emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) and women’s health (WH) conditions.

As part of the ongoing evolution and improvement of the G-FINDER project, previous references to 'sexual and reproductive health' have been replaced with 'women's health conditions' to better reflect the full range of conditions covered.

Data Tags. The ‘Tag’ feature enriches project details by allowing the addition of one or more tags, for example “paediatric formulation”, “ODA funding” or “antimicrobial resistance”. Choose from our pre-defined options or add customised tags.

Including clinical trial numbers or product names as tags in the format “Clinical trial number: NCT123456” or “Product name: paracetamol” is helpful. Using this format, including the colon, helps us process your data.

The G-FINDER project has been funded by the Gates Foundation since 2007. Coefficient Giving also supports the project via core funding to Impact Global Health. For more information, please refer to the frequently asked questions
